TK Systems Inc. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") recognizes that appropriately handling the important personal information of everyone who uses the Overlint extension operated by the Company is an important responsibility. The Company will establish a personal information protection management system based on the personal information protection policy, and all employees will work to implement it and strive for proper management and protection of personal information.
1. Information Collected
In the Overlint extension, the following information (hereinafter referred to as "collected information") may be collected.
- •Figma API Token: Authentication token for retrieving design images from Figma.
- •Extension Settings: Basic settings such as overlay opacity and display preferences.
- •Usage Statistics: Number of extension uses and API calls (aggregated data that does not identify individuals).
- •Technical Information: Browser type, extension version, error information (for troubleshooting).
2. Purpose of Use
The Company will use the collected information for the following purposes.
- •Provision of core extension functionality (comparison with Figma designs).
- •Saving and restoring user settings.
- •Service quality improvement and bug fixes.
- •Service improvement through usage statistics.
- •Technical support and troubleshooting.
- •Security assurance and prevention of unauthorized use.
3. Voluntary Nature of Personal Information Provision
Provision of Figma API token is voluntary, but if not provided, the main functionality of the extension (comparison with Figma designs) may not be available. Other setting information is automatically collected to improve the convenience of the extension.
4. Provision to Third Parties
The Company will not provide personal information to third parties except in the following cases.
- •Figma API tokens are only used and sent to Figma when making image retrieval requests to the Figma API.
- •When user consent is obtained.
- •When required by law.
5. Regarding Outsourcing
The Company may outsource personal information handling to external contractors to the extent necessary for service provision. In such cases, the Company will conclude contracts and conduct supervision to ensure that contractors handle information appropriately.
6. Joint Use of Collected Information
The Company will jointly use collected information within the following scope.
- •Jointly used information: Content described in "Information Collected."
- •Purpose of use: Content described in "Purpose of Use."
- •Responsible party: TK Systems Inc. (For details, please refer to the Specified Commercial Transaction Act Disclosure).
7. Data Storage
Our extension uses Chrome's standard storage functionality to save user settings locally. This information is stored only on the user's device and is not sent to external servers.
8. Security
The Company pays special attention to protecting sensitive information such as Figma API tokens and implements appropriate security measures. This information is encrypted and stored using Chrome's secure storage functionality.
